Dansk Olie Genbrug is part of the Avista Oil Group, which is attempting to establish waste oil refining on a broad foundation in a number of European countries.

Mineralöl Raffinerie Dollbergen also processes waste oil into base oil, and produces lubricating oil for a number of oil companies in its own blending facility. The other companies in the group are waste oil collection companies.
