ENVIRONMENT & WASTE OIL

Dansk Olie Genbrug A/S collects and re-refines used lubricants from engines, hydraulic systems, transformers etc.

The waste oils are refined into base oil, which is used in production of new lubricating oil.

Technology

The refinery's reprocessing process is a patented Vaxon technology for fractioning oil products after boiling point. The fractioning takes place by vacuum distillation.
The extraction of the base oil distillate for removal of residual aromatic compounds takes place in a PNA plant using NMP as the extraction phase.
